Maureen, I just wanted to send a quick e-mail to you and your staff for helping me with my cat, Lily. You may not remember, but I was in the store last Friday at my wit's end because my cat had stopped eating or eliminating any stool and after spending almost $1,000 at the vet, no one could give me any kind of answer as to what might be wrong with her other than to have her undergo exploratory surgery. You suggested I add Slippery Elm to her food (which I was feeding to her by syringe) ... I started the Slippery Elm Friday night ... I am so happy to report that Lily has started eating as of last night and this afternoon she FINALLY eliminated some stool. I can tell she feels much better, and she's back to acting like her old self. I made an appointment with Dr. Alisa Koenig just to check her over, but I think she's on the mend.
I can't thank you enough for your help and your wisdom ... this isn't the first time you've helped me through a crisis with one of my pets ... I've never e-mailed you my thanks, I'm ashamed to say, but I felt it was time to. I truly believe that holistic is the way to go with our animals and I've recommended you to several of my family and friends, all of whom have had nothing but good things to say.
